I don’t know how to handle this Management question and need guidance.
Chapter 14 covered labor relations as applied to unions. The history of labor unions in the USA reveals a shift in the workforce away for blue-collar labor unions to the unionization of professional career fields and government employees. Weekly Topic Response #8 examines an individual perspective on positive or negative beliefs that a union brings to an individual’s job and/or career.
Attached is a brief survey. Follow the instruction for completing the survey; from the survey results, response to the following questions:
- Select two phrases with the highest scores. Analyze these two phrases and discuss what those two phrases reveal about your perspective of the influence a union has on your job and/or career?
- Select two phrases with the lowest scores. Analyze these two phrases and discuss what those two phrases reveal about your perspective of the influence a union has on your job and/or career?
