3. What does THM and HAA stand for? (Look in the definitions section)
4. What are THM and HAA a by-product of?
5. What regulated chemical is listed as a “water additive” and is intentionally added to the water?
6. Are there any substances that are near or exceed the MCL or MRDL in your water source? List them.
7. Has Cryptosporidium ever been detected in your water source? Out of all the pathogens that could be present, why is
Cryptosporidium concerning and listed?
8. Are there any pesticides or herbacides listed on your CCR and where would they have come from? What health effects
can these chemicals have? (Look at the EPA National Drinking Water Regulations)
9. What is the radioactivity level of a substance on the report? Is the source of this radioactivity from normal sources?
10. Had you ever looked at a CCR before this class? What is the most interesting thing you have learned from looking at
your CCR?
