Create a manufacturing or service blueprint that depicts a product or service offering for your company. You may use another corporation if your company does not manufacture a product or provide a service. Your blueprint should capture the process, which begins from the start of the purchase and ends with completion/delivery.
In addition to your process blueprint, prepare a brief description of two procedures that prevent or block mistakes in the hospitality service process. These process applications are commonly referred to as ‘poka-yokes’ – roughly translated from Japanese into English as ‘error or mistake-proofing’.
Your Service Blueprint may be built using any program of your choosing. Include a half-page description of the process. Follow this with a one-page description of your mistake-proofing process enhancements indicated above, including in-text citations. Include a brief introduction that broadly describes the contents of your assignment.
References: Include a minimum of five scholarly resources within the last 5 years covering service blueprint, process optimization, or another relevant topic. The majority should be from peer-reviewed journals.
